What's included in this calculation?

The estimate covers every listed ingredient at its stated quantity — optional ingredients included, unless the cook's notes say otherwise — prepared as written and divided by the stated servings. All quantities are metric: weighed in grams or measured in ml, tsp and tbsp.

Recommended sides and optional pairings are not included. Where a combined figure appears, it is shown only inside a pairing card labelled “Estimated nutrition when paired with”.

Before publication, every recipe passes automated checks: macro arithmetic against stated calories, tag honesty, and a screen for medical-claim language.Read the editorial policy.

Ingredients (1 servings)

1 serving
  • 200 mlWater
  • 1½ tspInstant coffee

Swap: Use 200 ml strong filter coffee or an unsweetened Americano.

  • 1 scoopCollagen peptides — about 10 g, unflavoured (optional)

Swap: Optional. If omitted, the coffee contains almost no protein. Alternatively, use unflavoured whey isolate once the coffee has cooled for about a minute — whey clumps in very hot liquid; collagen does not. Unflavoured collagen is imported and typically costs ₹30–50 per scoop.

  • ¼ tspCeylon cinnamon (optional)

Swap: Cassia cinnamon is acceptable. Use a smaller quantity, because it has a stronger flavour.

Method

  1. Bring the water to a boil and dissolve the instant coffee in a mug.

  2. Add the collagen peptides and stir or froth for 15–20 seconds until fully dissolved — a small battery frother works best.

  3. Dust with Ceylon cinnamon and drink hot.
